Parking
Parking is only permitted in designated areas. Please do not block roads, driveways, or access to shared facilities. Recreational vehicles may not be parked on subdivision streets or within the front building setbacks once a residence has been constructed on the lot on a permanent or semi-permanent basis. Overnight parking in common areas is discouraged unless previously approved by the Strata Council. Commercial vehicles or equipment over one (1) ton, including logging trucks or bulldozers, may not be parked on any lot or within the subdivision area unless they are actively being used in construction on the property.
Rentals
The rental of Strata Lots within Strata Corporation KAS 1797 is prohibited, except under the provisions of Sections 142, 143, and 144 of the Strata Property Act. Short-term vacation or recreational rentals are considered commercial activities and are strictly prohibited.
Building Requirements
All owners must adhere to the Wild Rose Bay Building Requirements before starting construction or exterior alterations. These guidelines cover topics such as setbacks, building materials, height restrictions, landscaping, and shed placement. Building plans must be submitted for approval at least two weeks prior to construction, and final construction must begin within six months of approval. For the full and most up-to-date list of requirements, please visit the Wild Rose Bay website or contact the Strata Council.
