Maintenance & Repairs

Please note: Any alterations to individual lots or structures must receive prior written approval from the Strata Council. 

Alterations

 

Owners must complete an “Application to Alter” form and submit it to the Strata Council prior to starting any modifications to their Strata Lot or adjacent common property.

 

For significant changes, additional documentation may be requested. Do not begin any work until:

  1. Preliminary approval is granted by the Council;

  2. A CSRD building permit has been issued;

  3. Final approval is received after Council reviews the permit.

Maintenance

Please note: All owners are encouraged to regularly inspect their property for potential safety or maintenance concerns. Prompt attention helps prevent damage and supports the well-being of the community. If issues arise that affect common property or shared infrastructure, please report them as soon as possible.

Strata Maintains:

  • Common areas (e.g., landscaping, dock, pathways)

  • Shared systems (e.g., septic, water treatment if applicable)

Owners Maintain:

  • Landscaping on individual lots must be kept in good condition and free of weeds

  • All buildings and structures on the Strata Lot, including windows and doors, must be repaired and maintained by the owner
